Veterinary line of cold-pressed granules – VET – INSECT DERMA
You can especially use this food if you have a dog with a strong “allergy”. In the vast majority of cases, insect meat is a problem-free source of animal protein. We only use young, high-quality insects (larvae) in our food, therefore it does not contain the (controversial) chitin coating, which is unsuitable in the long term and reduces the usefulness of insect protein. Our protein, on the other hand, is of high quality, low in fat, perfectly absorbable and usable. The food is therefore also suitable for reduction diets for milder forms of obesity. It also contains pure probiotics to strengthen the dog’s microbiome and immunity.
For diarrhea and/or itchy skin caused by food protein allergy.
In case of more serious problems (blood and/or mucus content in the stool, scabs on the skin, wet skin, etc.), we recommend consulting a veterinarian. Feed does not do any harm, but in case of acute problems it is necessary to rule out causes other than those caused by the diet.
With an elimination diet due to the detection of problematic proteins in the food – we recommend starting the food for 8 weeks and not giving anything else, not even sweets – if the problem disappears, the cause should be sought in the components of the previous food . (It is ideal to use this food for dogs that have no experience with potatoes, peas and insect protein).
For dogs allergic to BARF – suitable as an alternative for traveling (try it at home first), as a treat or as an option for quickly available food if you forget to thaw the food dose.
When to consult a veterinarian about the use of food:
