Veterinary line of cold-pressed pellets – VET VEGGIE
This food with a high content of prebiotics and probiotics is suitable for dogs that have poor digestion, difficulty digesting all available forms of animal protein, or other problems that exclude the animal component from the diet. The dog is still a carnivorous omnivore, so it generally requires a high proportion of meat in its diet. But if for some reason your dog cannot eat the animal component, these granules, thanks to their composition, can provide him with all the necessary nutrients from plant sources.
As part of the cleansing of the organism – for example after poisoning or other digestive irritations,
In the treatment of diarrhea, itchy skin (or other problems), when an allergy/side effect to an animal protein is suspected,
To support the resolution of dysmicrobia – to improve the intestinal microbiome (the food contains a large amount of prebiotics and probiotics),
With an elimination diet to detect problematic animal proteins, when the skin itches – we recommend using the food for 8 weeks and not giving anything else, not even sweets – if the problem disappears, the cause should be sought in the ingredients of the previous feeding. (It is ideal to use this food for dogs that have no experience with peas or potatoes),
After an elimination diet as the first feeding to test whether there is a problem with the plant component,
As a treat for dogs where an increased protein intake is not desirable (urological problems, reduced kidney function, etc.) – it is not suitable as a food for these dogs, but as a treat it is,
As a detox of the organism (mainly thanks to ingredients such as milk thistle, peat and nettle),
For dogs allergic to BARF – suitable as an alternative for traveling (try it at home first), as a treat, as an option for quickly available food or as a supplement to the plant component,
In combination with other food, e.g. to reduce weight – it provides satiety, replenishes fiber, but at the same time reduces the total intake of macronutrients,
Relieving digestion after gastroenteritis in a dog allergic to various types of animal proteins.
When to consult a veterinarian about the use of food:
In urological problems – with inflammation of the urinary tract, possibly also with the appearance of struvites (crystals) or urinary stones in the urine.
